You see the World Differently on a bike. Berger Hardware Bikes is committed to bringing cycling as a way of life to as many people as humanly possible. We are equally passionate about cycling as a sport, as a mode of transportation, and as a recreation. We offer coaching/training and exercises prescription, as well as custom bicycle fitting and sales. In addition, BHB has a robust and active road and cyclecross team, based in Raleigh, NC but active in Austin, TX, Boston, MA and Ohio. The team races together, but also engages in community events to bring awareness to cycling. We also hold a variety of community events and races which are held regularly in Raleigh, NC.

A Holiday Cyclocross Race

We teamed up with Oak City Cycling Project and we are mixing things up.  Throwing a slightly different cyclocross race.  Gather around and spread the 'cross spirit and cheer. Holiday surprises, modified course, and tasty food truck.  Bundle up and have a blast with us all on December 2nd.

Please register on USAC.

Day-of will also be available, please bring cash or checks.

Registration is $25 (day of $30)

Juniors is $15

Bombers race is $10

Second race of the day is $10

Bombers Race - Please register day of. We will cover a one day license, if needed.

11:50 - Juniors 9-12 and Juniors 13-15 (30 minutes)

12:35 - Men 4/5 (30 minutes)

1:20 - Women 4/5 (30 minutes)

1:50 - Kid Race (Short Laps)

2:05 - Women Pro/1/2/3 (30 minutes)

2:50 - Men Pro/1/2/3 (30 minutes)

3:35 - Single Speed and Masters 40+ (30 minutes)

4:20 - Bombers Race!

What's a bombers race, you say? Basically it is weird, off-the-wall fun for 30 minutes. Ride whatever you want! The jankier the better. Ride a beach cruiser, cargo bike, road bike with 23c tires, folding bike, penny farthing, bike-share bike, tall bike, WHATEVER! All we ask is that you keep your race worthy CX, SSCX, and/or mountain bikes out of it! Prizes will be awarded to worst bike, best dressed, biggest smile, and whatever we make up in the moment. This is a USA Cycling sanctioned event and bicycles need to comply with the safety rules that USAC outlines. Participation is $10 to cover general costs and licensing. Register at USAC or day-of. Remember, NO RACE BIKES. Let's get weird
